Great win

All Hail the Zabba Man!

Our chances went up with the home ends half empty.

Tickets were £20, and Stoke were playing the Champions, and the team that beat them in the FA Cup Final, yet they couldn't get more than 15,000 of their own supporters to the ground.

Stoke have been one of the biggest spenders in the Premiership in recent seasons - I think their bosses will have been very disappointed about the turnout against City. Norwich had a full-house against Luton, so did QPR v MK Dons and Brighton v Arsenal.

This is the beginning of the end for the Pulis regime.

Nice to hear pundits praising Zabba today, "Best RB in the league. He's incredible" (Andy Townsend) "Best defender in the league at the moment" (Southgate)

"Best right back in the prem"....Gordon Strachan.. TV highlights last night.

-- Sun Jan 27, 2013 11:03 am --

A bit of cheap punditry at the start of proceedings would me up.
Gareth Southgate christened it, A team of ego's versus a team of soldiers.

Our team yesterday were quality and played for each other.

I wouldnt call stoke ego's... :)

Little being said of Howard Webb's mistake. Imagine if we'd have lost to a last-minute goal, or had a replay? If that had been Rooney or RVP that had been stamped on, do you think it would have been red?

Got to laugh at the last line

Pulia has a job for life at the rugby team

Thought it was a typical Howard Webb performance yesterday. 15 fouls between the two teams. Four bookings, three of them for City and the only dangerous foul of the game he either misses or conveniently chooses to ignore.

As Howard Webb didn't even give a free kick the FA can ask Howard Webb to review the incident and give his verdict. All the fuss about Vinny's red card and that was far worse and the player got away with it. Good job Garcia wasn't injured by it, because it looked bad every time they showed it.

Onwards and upwards lets hope for a good draw and another home tie. Anyone from Luton , Mk Dons would be nice.

He could still get a ban for the tackle if the FA look at it
