Stop Crying Your Heart Out Rodri Banner

Banner was great. Vini Jnr's disrespect towards Rodri will hopefully fxxx hings up for him at future Ballon D'Or awards too.

I heard Ancelotti being interviewed recently and he said Vini wanted to win Ballon D'Or whereas Bellingham wanted to win trophies so Ancelloti said that Real Madrid supported ickle Vini Jnr in his quest for Ballon D'Or. Sad classless twats.

I think it reflects the feeling in the club that we have started to actively target other teams with banners in the stadium

Perhaps Bourne out of frustration of a poor season and the charges still hanging over our heads

We had ‘you’ll never win four in a row for the rags’ , and now this one

I prefer the ones that celebrate our team rather than digs at the opposition

The I’ll follow you everywhere one was great against Arsenal when we beat them 4-1 , backing the team and latching onto a chant from the stands that season

Was yesterdays a club effort or from the 1894 ?
Actively target other teams. The whole nation actively targets our club.

Grow a fucking pair.

Jesus wept.

Big Steve talking about the banner and 1894 around 3 minutes 20 seconds in. Calls out Carragher too:

The entitled clubs want it all.one way. If anybody gives them some back it's disrespect, small time etcetera. Fuck them!
Also it didn't motivate them anymore to beat us, we did that ourselves not for the first time this season. Their motivation was to progress in the competition. I know it's almost impossible but as Keegan said I would love it, love it if we beat them!

The sight of the banner may have hopefully taught Junior a humbling lesson in how to act in victory and defeat?

We'll always be "lickle Citeh". Ask any Tarq, Dip or Rag and they'll confirm it.

;-).

Re the banner, I'm not sure what I made of it. It did look a bit cringey on the telly, to be honest; maybe it looked better in the stadium. 10/10 for effort, though.
Maybe you should ask yourself what you make of Real boycotting the Ballon D’Or because the banner was very much made in that context.

The banner was bang on.

It's about entitlement and disrespect.

Fuck Madrid and fuck anyone else who has a problem with it.

We have fans that are upset that other fans are taking the piss out of them on social media.

Have some fucking empathy mate ;-)

You can't criticise Oasis on here; that's sacrilege. I'll let it slide, this time. Because I'm a bloody decent chap. Do it again, though, and you'll be taking a break from here.

;-)
Some might say you better let it slide away little by little or just roll with it.

I have no problem with the picture, only the words!

Would have been much better to have simply put the word “Respect” on it. I just don’t get the need to be “small time,” especially the need to shoehorn Oasis, or lyrics, into every fucking thing!
Not turning up for the Ballon d'or because your player didn't win it is small time on a gigantic scale. Anything City fans did to let the selfish twat and his club know what pricks they were that day is anything but small time. The thing is with you Americans (if that's what you are) is you just don't get the subtlety of the English and if you don't like it you know what you can do.

I didn’t see a problem with it.

Madrid had to expect some kind of reaction. It was an utter piss take that they skipped the awards ceremony just because one of their own didn’t win the Balon d’Or.

They’re up there with the likes of Bayern, United and Liverpool in terms of having a delusional sense of entitlement. Loathsome club.
Exactly the right take.

These idiot kids and banter merchants on social are missing the point of it.

RM could have beaten us 10-0 and the banner still would have sent a message that someone needed to say.

The whining had nothing to do with Rodri not being deserving and everything to do that the plastics' precious Real Madrid and their golden boy didn't win something for once.

This is a huge problem with modern football. Anything labeled "big," whether it's a club or individual, has millions of pathetic, simpering ass-kissers all over social media - and their attitudes start spilling out to the real world.

Small time Salford boy response.

Did you think it was a news flash to them that we didn’t appreciate it?

The thing with you Salford boys is you just don’t understand who you’re talking to, or what a bunch of bollocks you’re talking, and if you don’t like it, well, you know…
