Stop it.

My outsider's view is that you don't get too big headed or arrogant on here (generally speaking anyway, I know it's not a hive mind). It's what I like about this place. If anything needs addressing, it's the speed at which the nooses come out when you hit a rough patch. Miserable, pessimistic, cynical bastards... As I said; I like it here.

Each game at a time please, that is how i take it.
I admit to having to temper myself with regards to looking matches ahead sometimes.
Never have i said "that is a banker" even if a few times in my head i have thought "bloody hell i can't see anything beyond us smashing these lot".
Just take each game at a time, simple format and saves your nerves...a little.

I thought QPR was a banker, never again will i make that mistake.

People are just happy we are back in it, not seen any people saying the league is won. Everyone acknowledges how tough it is at Everton, so all in all were staying pretty calm and grounded.
People thought Stoke was a banker, people thought QPR was a banker, people thought Wigan was a banker. People talk about it being "in our hands" but because the start of the next sentence begins with the word "if", I don't think anything is in our hands. We just have to take it a game at a time.

Who is saying we have any bankers? We know there are no bankers.

Agreed we haven't done anything yet . It could all go wrong on Saturday against Everton .

What are you actually agreeing with?

Because from what I can see the the OP is complaining about something that is not happening, we are all well grounded and realistic (and perhaps a little too pessimistic)

What I will say, is this

No City fan should walk about (Metaphorically speaking ) in sackcloth and ashes daring not to be optimistic that is just as wrong as being cocky, we should be proud of our club hopeful but realistic about our chances, I am sick and tired of miserable bleeders coming on here daring to shout down City fans because they have the audacity to be happy and worry free

I tend to think most city fans will be very cautious going into the everton game,we wont take anything for granted especially the way this season has went so far,and then of course we have the typical city which from time to time pops up now and again,we have been through hard times, relegations, and even though we are considered one of the top sides in England again i dont see us getting ahead of ourselves with three games to go...

I agree we shouldn't get too cocky . I believe Liverpool have jumped the gun with them thinking they have won the league . You don't print t shirts when you haven't won the league .

Liverpool's last game is at home to Newcastle, how ironic would it be if Newcastle could turn them over after Liverpool beat them 4-3 all those years ago to virtually hand the title to Man Utd during KK's "I'd love it..." season

Cautious yes, Nervous yes, excited yes but confident.... absolutely we have a fantastic team, this will make up me at 15 watching that twat dancing on the touchline when those cunts sent us down with that last minute goal, fucking Luton Town !!!!!
