Stop putting the ball out.

Wherever the team put the ball out is where they should get a throw in when the game resumes..
This would soon stop it.
 
I agree. He soon go up when Aguero ran level and stood next to him and starts calling for the ball, then fell back down when we put it out. No way should we have out that ball out yesterday.
 
the physio should be allowed onto the pitch while the ball is still in play. That would stop players staying down for no reason. Agree that we shouldn't have kicked it out.
 
Totally agree. Cattermole Was right in front of us y'day and he clearly wasn't dying !! He couldve literally rolled off the pitch for 'treatment' but instead got up and walked 20 yards berating the ref before 'collapsing' again. Refs need to fuckin wise up..

I was attempting somewhat unsuccessfully to say that specifying a head injury as the only reason to stop play is very arbitrary.

There's a myriad of serious injuries that can occur to other parts of the body.

Keep playing and leave it to the officials.
 
Its unsportsmanlike behaviour and should be a yellow card imo.

Refs need to get a grip on it asap.

the only time you should put the ball out of play is if the ref hasn't seen a bad injury; ie unconscious player or bad break. no team should do the refs job for him! he has the power to stop the game if he deems necessary. we played right into the hands of an experienced captain yesterday... gutted.
 
Yesterday Sunderlanf had the chance to put it out but chose not to. Then as soon as they lose possession they expect us to do it
