It's the strongest I've heard in a few years here in Altrincham. The last storm brought three fence panels down I hope this one eases soon.

Yes it's worse than a couple of days ago. Reminds me of my days at sea, at least I'm not getting tossed around all over the place with the possibility I might sink, that's a bonus lol.

Yeah Thursday was given the big build up but was nothing really. This definitely feels worse.

Been awake since 4am expecting to hear a crash of tiles or similar. Nothing obvious but expect some carnage when I get up to survey the damage shortly. Taking some hope from the fact planes still seem to be landing.

What's it like now down South? Judging from the fact the BBC have pushed it down the news stories, it's hitting the north much worse?
