Storm Dudley/Eunice/Franklin

Some weird obsession about London getting more media attention, same was said about Covid until most realised that was a load of bollox aswell.

Anyway here’s the storm that’s not affecting London …

Posting article after article jeez. Fkin obsessing with proving people wrong.

It was all over the news, headlines. Today nothing (not actually 'nothing' but a lot less - You people like to be pedantic) Its that fucking simple.

Guess you're right - if posters are convinced and cry about slightly more news coverage for London than up North, then let them crack on.

sort of missing thepoint, which was the coverage and warnings leading up to franklin was nowhere near as prevalent on the beeb as that for the earlier two storms. I agree the coverage is now there showing the impact, different issue though

I am reminded of the floods a few years ago. A man drowned in the street in Hull and 20,000 buildings were flooded. BBC coverage? Zilch, until a woman rang and complained. The Bbc's excuse, given to an astonished Andrew Neil, was that Hull was a bit remote and difficult to get to!
