Straw poll - are you a Hughes inner or a Hughes outer?

IN.

This guy knows what he is doing. Unlike the thick t@ssers on this forum who think a team should be the fookin finished article after TWELVE games. To those of you out there who know fook-all about football, it takes time to create a GREAT team no matter how much you spend. Have some patience ffs, try to be positive & get behind the team you claim to support. Or maybe you just enjoy moaning & foaming and I'm just wasting my time.....

OUT, and have wanted so since he arrived, nothing he has done has convinced me otherwise.

Question is, which other clubs would be so ready and willing to take him on.

Therin lies the answer, below average outfits, crying out for a make-do-and-mend average manager.

This and before he sells robi

I mean to Be Fair, Yes tactically he hasnt got a clue but we have only been beaten once this term, and that was through getting cheated, so he must be doing somet right.

I don't know why he doesn't embrace his own cluelessness in this respect by bringing in a decent tactician to take care of that side of things.

This club has constantly tried to solve its problems by changing the manager - it hasn't worked - time for a new approach. Stability and evolution not constant revolution.

Sack the manager and we are literally back to sqaure one. New manager always means new players, backroom staff etc etc how can you ever 'Build' anything with constant change and 'under new management' signs every 18 months.

This thread has proven that the majority back Hughes and it's a noisy but persistent minority who never seem happy unless they are destabilising everything. One Message, for once in your life 'BACK THE CLUB' !

Ok,, just realised iv not been backing the club because I think the manager is shite. !! Thanks.

Sorry, don't mean to derail the thread - the 'club' that means the board, the owners, the players are backing the manager so if you're not - you're not backing the club imo.

It depends whether you just 'think' the manager is sh*te but still on match day you get behind the boys 110%. If that's the case then I s'pose you would still be backing the club despite your views on the manager - which is fair enough but not an opinion I agree with.

As I've said many times, if Hughes was a relatively unknown foreign manager,90% of fans would want him out.im desperately trying to figure out why there are so many "INS",I havnt seen anything in 18 months to suggest that he is 100% the man for the job.I was delighted when Hughes initially came to us but I have to say my confidence in him now isn't very high.

the worst reason for keeping hughes.

we have to be patient.

does this mean we should have kept hold of the other managers for longer who had little to spend, pearce, frank the guitar player, billy mc`niell, ?

just a question
The Billy McNeil that walked out on us you mean??

ok but you get the drift

Deffo an IN, yep he`s made mistakes ( as have the players) and needs time to stamp his authority onto the newer ones, but I think that will eventually help him grow into the role and himself become a better manager.
