wow a real comedian

Actually he is one of the funniest posters on here.

A label I suspect you don't have attributed to yourself too often.

Perhaps he is funny in class.
another unfunny creeps out of the woodwork

And who do you think wants this 'revolution' other than you and a bunch of other deluded agent provocateurs?

I reckon you speak for less than 5% of the population - hardly a overwhelming mandate for your brave new world...
i think you might find that there is a growing number of people becoming more and more disgruntled with this sham of a government

I take it all back.

You are actually very, very funny.
i wholeheartedly thankyou not

Have your nose rubbed in what, in a dose of reality ? Have a look at Greece and then tell me thay that's the lengths you're prepared to go too, because ultimately that's where total denial will get you.
if it needs a revolution to get rid of these banker led tory twats then yes

pardon my ignorance, why is it that its allways postmen, air traffic, teachers and fireman that shrike.why dont we hear of milkmen, semi skilled people, minimum wages e.t.c strike. guess the first have had it a bit easier in my opinion...

Yeah right. The comment of a KFA, I speak only for teachers.

Lets face it, you sign on to a job with certain conditions and then the employer changes the goal posts. "Sorry, that wasn't the deal," you say.
"Well that is they way it is, because we pay you and think you have it too good."

I am a teacher, work 50 plus hours a week, don}t ever have the holidays that everyone complains about as I spend time in school preparing, and have a massive amount of stress from the kids and the management.
Don't get me wrong, I fucking love my job, most people couldn't do it, and having done alot of other things this is the one thing I have ever really enjoyed, but don't go fucking me over once we had a deal set in stone.

PS I get very annoyed by people constantly blaming teachers for everything from knife crime, to the rise in teenage pregnancy and delinquency. Oh and for everyone out there teaching levels have never EVER been as high and done by such a commited group of individuals as right now, so get off our backs.

Having re-read that I sound a tad bitter, but it is infact what most teachers think, although they tend to be a politer than me. ,)

"banker led tory twats" - interesting view, what makes you think that?

The same bankers that were led by Labour not two years ago? Weird how no-one complained them...

The fact of the matter is...under a third of all teachers voted for this strike. In other words nearly 70% either didn't vote or voted no.

But seeing as there is no rule that a certain amount of people have to vote before a ballot can be called fair, say 70%, what can you do?

You've said it yourself 'not revolutionary' which was the point of my original post.

Glad you agree with me.

Prentis' line about only supporting labour mps who support public sector industrial action struck a chord with me
no more easy rides for labour either

I'll give him that. It was pleasing to hear this from a union leader.

Why the f**k do public sector workers have these crusades to have EVEN better or even maintain their current above the line pensions?? Jesus wept they are so deluded and full of shit it makes me want to vom!
The most stupid and ill-informed post I have read for months. As for those who say public opinion will ensure that the strikes fail, no it won't. There are millions of people affected by these cuts, and they have been backed into a corner. They are in it for the long haul, not just one day. Whatever the outcome of the strikes, this vile government is on its last legs. Messing with the pensions and livelihoods of millions of people is something Cameron and his cronies can regret at their leisure in future.

If they didnt want strike action all they had to do was vote no

Sorry but I think you're wrong here. The last 'Labour' government presided over exactly the same things happening in the private sector (frankly, they didn't have the balls to deal with the public sector). For this very fact (and I'm not saying this is right by the way), those employed in the private sector will have very little sympathy with those in the public sector.

'Stupid and ill-informed' is the default setting for this unhinged individual.
However, may I divert your attention to the Pat Karney thread if you want to experience the full gamut of his stupidity in more detail?
