Strike on 30th June

for cheesy

i'd sabre rattle just a s loudly I promise.
Prentis' line about only supporting labour mps who support public sector industrial action struck a chord with me
no more easy rides for labour either

Great speak.
The last administration was not a Labour government, but a fudge nu-liebour that tried to be all things to all people and let everyone down.
I am commited to fighting to defend the workers rights, wether that is through fighting to defend pensions, appealing warnings for sick absence when DDA has been ignored, or just trying to make the world a more equal place to live in.
I wil not be on strike on 30th June, but i will be voting in support of a concentrated, co-ordinated campaign of industrial action to defend workers rights in the autumn.
Tackle tax evasion - avoidance and there will be no need for ANY cuts.

Prentis has pretty much started nailing his own coffin after todays rhetoric threatening action with the purpose of bringong the nation to breaking point if their demands aren't met.

Remember when teachers, nurses, doctors and lollipop ladies crashed the stock market, wiped out banks, took billions in bonuses and paid no tax? No, me neither.

Haha. Brilliant. You've copied that word for word and managed to use capital letters in a post for the very first time. Take a bow son, take a bow.

It's all going to end in tears. With public opinion against the unions and a resolute government there is only going to be one winner.

The term 'choose your battles' seems to have passed Prentis et al by.

Do they seriously think they are going to win this one?

Has history taught them nothing?

As for no one voting for a coalition government. Am I the only one that was fully aware that it was likely in the event of no overall majority? It's just every fucking program leading up to the election explained to the voters what would happen.

I would rather fight & lose than have my nose rubbed in it .the unions have not chosen the battle the coalition goverment has by slashing peoples pensions

I have no issue with that. I have issue with what I stated in the post you quote.

I keep reading on the forum that no one voted for the government like a coalition was never on the cards.

No you're not. Everyone was. That's why Nick Clegg was repeatedly asked which side he would back.

I wonder if all this faux indignation about the existence of a coalition would have been so prevalent if the putative 'rainbow alliance' had materialised.
