Striker handouts - Sorry Bobby I don't agree with you

Sorry not taking into account how disruptive pro players not playing are in the squad. There is something very wrong with badabayor sure we will find out shortly. Rsc was never good enough the reality is these players should never have been signed in the first place. I fully support the manager.

I'm sure Mancini knows what he's doing. It's not like were in debt and need to off load anyone so it's a well thought out decision.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if we have a loan signing appear in the next few days. Perhaps it's all been kept quiet until RSC and Adebayor were sent on their way.

Whatever happens I'll be behind Mancini all the way.

Optimus Prime in the other thread made a lot of sense imho!

The purpose of all these loans is so their sales in the summer show in the the figures which will be looked at as part of the new FFP rules - this starts in the summer, so there is absolutely no sense in selling a player now - it would be madness.

By all accounts we've managed to get West Ham, Blackburn and Real to pay the full wages for these players until the end of the season, so they are off the wage bill, then the players are sold in the summer so we can put their fees towards the figurse considered by UEFA for the FFP.

The wording on the Real website states they have him on loan until the summer "at which point the Club hold a unilateral option to purchase the player" - sounds like a binding deal is in place for the summer, unless I'm misinterpreting it.

Excellent deal from our side - I can't see a negative to it.

lets hope that isnt enough time for him to start great, fuck up and then give up and we hear the rip as a unilateral deal is used as spanish bog paper

I agree with you although the obvious negetive is if he cant score/starts sulking/implodes and they dont buy him (mind you at least we wont have paid his wages for 6 months)

Jo is better than RSC and Adebayor and Mancini clearly cannot work together.

Sorry I don't agree with you.
Sorry? Jo is better than Ade? Better grafter, maybe. But a better player? Not even close. Problem with Ade is that he can't be arsed most of the time. I'd have him before Jo though.

Haha, he didn't mean that I don't think. He meant, Jo is better than RSC. AND......Adebayor and Mancini cannot work together. If he meant Jo is better than Adebayor I don't think he should watch football anymore. I'm not even sure Jo is better than RSC.

I also think that with the system Bob plays he need forwards who are fluid and can play left, right and down the middle.

RSC and Ade can really only play centraly

Didn't they change the FFP rules so that everything from the previous transfer window would be taken into account?

I'm 99% sure I read stories along the lines of "City can't write off the signings of Silva, Toure, Balotelli, etc., anymore."

Anyone?

I agree with the first fella. An injury to tevez or dzeko would leave us with a big void to fill in the squad. Balotelli is already struggling with injury, and who's to say his knee injury won't recur again. It's clear that Mancini and Ade don't get on, but I'm not going to speculate and suggest that it's all adebayors fault. Forgive me if i'm wrong but wasn't the poznan game the last time he played? bagged a hatrick, can't argue with that. I reckon that if he'd been given a proper talking too followed by a second chance he could still have been a big player for us. Without trying to have a go, Jo just isn't up for it, and I don't for a second believe he's better than Ade or RSC. Ade...19 goals in 38 starts, how many has Jo got? I know who I'd rather have in the squad.
