Striker handouts - Sorry Bobby I don't agree with you

These fair play rules wont last 5 minutes. What industry turns away inward investment, non. Ade has gone to Madrid for a good reason, basicly he's shite and we will be stuck with him next year because once Madrid view the booty, they wont touch Ade with a bargepole.

Jo obviously isn't better than Jo, sorry my grammar isn't up to your standards...

Jo is definitely better than RSC, not only that but younger and gives his 100%, keep in mind as someone said neither are good enough to start but if your name isn't Mark Hughes and you list RSC before Jo on your team-sheet than you shouldn't watch football anymore.

I mean Jo actually got on the scoresheet in the Cup and the Europa League, can't remember the last time RSC scored a goal, or was mentioned in a training report.

Maybe we can still get Hulk but Im far more concerned about HOW to get the ball to the strikers. We have no creativity, its always Tevez up the middle on his own when we do score seems recently.

We will strengthen that department in the summer , there is no need to panic buy or get a loan in at this stage.

We will need four quality frontmen eventually if we are to progress significantly in all competitions we compete in.

Tevez has played as the central striker for much of the season - we now have Dzeko to support him. And Mario. And Jo

Adebayor wasn't even on the bench so does that weaken the 1st team squad?

Our problem is that we have/had players like Adebayor that were treated as world class players when they were signed and not surprisingly had an expectation that they would start week in week out. Someone like Ade would never settle with being a back up player.

The idea that you can have a squad of 23 top class players is unrealstic, particulary with the new financial rules. Every top squad needs a few players that are capable of coming into the side and doing a job but will not throw their toys out of the pram if they are left out. United have had the likes of Sheringham & Solsjaer (sp?), Brown & Park and now Hernandez seems in the same category.

This has nothing to do with the FFPR. It's about Mancini being a suspect man manager.

I expect Carlos and De Jong to be the next out the door come the summer.

Maybe Vinny as well.

Send 'em all out on loan so Bobby can bring in 25 nodding dogs...

I'm sure we'll see some new players to replace the ones that have gone.
This is the point the OP is making, namely that it may be too late now to get replacements in. As for the "unilateral option to buy", if Real Madrid actually buy Adebayor at the end of the season, unless for an absolute knock-down price, I will eat a camel. Unless we get somebody good on loan, we are fooked. As sure as eggs are eggs, Dezeko and/or Tevez will get injured, sooner rather than later.

We play a front three, we don't play a front two - if needs be, we can pick one of Tevez, Dzeko, Balotelli, Nimely, Guidetti or Jo and flank them with two of Silva, Johnson, Milner...

Shitloads of depth. I'm glad that we're shifting the superfluous staff off the wage bill.
