I have slagged Stu off in the past but if you're blaming him for all that appeared in the article then think you have no idea on how the press works. It's too late, I'm too drunk and not that arsed but you have to realise that the writer of an article doesn't generally even see the final product before it goes to print.
It's highly likely that he is telling the truth about being pissed off re the mistakes on the names and that it wasn, this fault.
Saying that I won't buy the MEN as I do feel it has a bias and is nowadays generally poor journalism. I would prefer to see Stuart working for a 'better' publication, preferably a Manchester based one but doubt we'll be seeing any new papers coming through - just old ones dying"

Tip of the Iceberg Ed, just another reason why the MEN and its journalists are so poor. I get my City fix and all my City news from Bluemoon and the Official website. I'd pick up a copy of Autotrader in search of a decent unbiased story about City before I reached for the MEN, which lets not forget is supposed to be a local newspaper promoting local interest.

Trying to defend the wholly indefensible, this hack is clearly a bigger clown than even we thought. If anyone out there still thinks the MEN is a half decent newspaper worthy of our support then just re-read this thread and the incredulous comments of Stuart Brennan, one of MEN's finest.
Well done fellow blues.
I like a bit of perspective :)steviemc said:Quality.andyhinch said:Thank fuck the article didn't read" city are shit away from home"

Interesting way of winning friends. Go on to a forum of Manchester City fans and defend your newspaper by branding some of them 'simpletons'.squirtyflower said:As a purely hypothetical question, what percentage of our membership would you consider to be in this bracket?stuart brennan said:especially on forums like this, where there are other simpletons
and, furthermore, from your earlier pronouncement what % of the MEN readership do you consider to be in the same bracket?
