Stupid little things that bug you

People who have no business buying stuff they don't have a clue about.

I like cooking and always watch the yt videos about japanese knife making so i thought i would treat myself to a decent 6" knife for general usage and prep work. I am not some snob but i do know with a good carbon knife or one with a nice wood handle you need to wipe it down immediatly after use or it rusts in a few minutes/can't leave immersed in water of the handle will get messed up.

The absolute state of some questions on the product page and reviews "can i put this in the dishwasher" "this knife is rubbish, it rusted right away, not happy" "the blade chipped when cutting up a chicken" (that one was some lady who bought a high carbon knife and was using it like a cleaver). The hell you doing buying 200 quid knives for if you want to treat it like a cheap idiot proof utensil?

Stuff that is designed with literally zero thought about practicality. Missus wants a new cafetiere so looking about and the ones that look really nice mostly have these generic shitty handles that are about as ergonomic as lump of coal. They are very slim with harsh edges, i'll put a pic below. It is hard to get a solid grip of these stupid handles, not great when it is attached to a large container full of boiling hot coffee
