Stupid little things that bug you

How every other teenager has “Mental Health “ problems these days.
* did we ignore MH years ago and it’s always been that way ?
• is MH the new bad back ?
• is it a badge of honour ?
• is the number roughly equivalent to the number of teenage wokes ?
• has the modern way lead to this ?
• or am I just being a Cnut.

and yes I do know there are many youngsters out there with a genuine condition.
You're not being a ****, just realistic, I've been saying this for years, we just didn't seem to have it when I was younger.....It's definately a badge of honour indeed if having mental health problems is an honour in this snowflake world we live in.

When i was a kid it was an innocent time , now with social media it is very stressfull, bullies can get kids in their homes , there are many downsides of the internet , they see things we never dreamed of seeing

High profile people speaking out has made it more acceptable to talk about , brought it out of the shadows , gary speed prompted the discussion in football

Exams and expectations are higher since everyone is supposed to aim for uni etc

As a human race we looked down on people with depression and other mental health problems , you got pull yourself together and get on with it until recent years

Lastly the last two years have fucked with most peoples mental health
Good post that Kaz

@kaz7 sometimes you talk a lot of shit, but sometimes you hit the nail on the head :-)
The sad one for me is PTSD. The 2 world wars were bad and we didn't understand ptsd then but we have had relative peace until the 70's.
Since then 'The troubles', The Falkands, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Iraq and of course terrorism with regards to the public being a target/injured in the UK.
The Manchester arena bomb touched everyone around here, everyone knew someone, even in a loose way, who had been injured/died. That is why mental health is talked about now..... back in a minute.

In the old days no one knew about dyslexia. I reckon loads of lads were banged up in Borstals because they were considered criminals, now we appreciate MH issues.

Nah sorry, yes every criminal going before the Beak will cite MH and the daily fail will highlight the scrounger who can't work because of MH, but in truth our society is faster busier and more pressured.

Yes there is all of that too misty

People at sporting events who see themselves on the big screen and start acting like a simpleton. Especially when their team is getting beat.

People who park their car on a bend or narrow street, making it difficult for two cars to pass by at the same time, but think a small red and white triangle attached to the driver’s door somehow helps. Fuck off, you deserve to lose your wing mirror.
My absolute, unnadulterated, loathing hatred, is focused on the **** who stays behind after a defeat, tears in the eyes, so they are on the telly. I'm actually fucking furious just writing that. Cunts.

Would it be acceptable to you if the fan was sat there, refusing to leave, even though his lads were pleading with him and the stewards were threatening to arrest him. OK I, ergh I mean he, wasn't crying but it was Stoke away as we fell into division 3.
Ergh, my mate just sat there, telling everyone to fuck off, I wasn't, ergh I mean he wasnt leaving for no one.
