Stupid little things that bug you

And they hardly ever make an offer and actually buy a property.

All these looking for a house shows are full of people with too little money and too high expectations.

E.g.

Escape to the Country. Some daft spinster intending to move from a basement studio in Chelsea to Pembrokeshire or rural inland Wales. Wanted to entertain friends and didn't think to take into account travel times before going on TV.
I don't get this country's obsession with property shows. It all began with Through the Keyole' and slowly grew into the monster it is today.

I couldn't even go to Sweden and not see it..... It followed me on SVT 1 with back to back episodes just like on More 4, with subtitles and A Place in the Sun was still showing the "Home or Away" editions.

I even went to a country where the show don't exist (Spain) and still could not get away from it..... I stayed with a friend who's sister had at the time an English boyfriend and he sent over in 2007 VHS videos of the shows to her!.

Crowded House told us to take the weather with us no matter where we went..... With me it's annoying British property shows!.

Bargain Hunt does my fucking head in. What a waste of licence payers money that is. Give a pair of no marks a wedge of cash to waste on cast off shit being peddled a group of Lovejoy shysters
The whole concept of Bargain Hunt is ludicrous. The contestants have to buy tat at retail and then hope to make a profit selling at wholesale. WTF?

I haven't read the whole thread obviously so this may have been mentioned but people misusing the word "acronym" absolutely infuriates me.

An acronym is an actual pronounced word derived from an abbreviation, not any old abbreviation, thus Nasa and Nato are acronyms while BBC and FBI are not.

This is so unimportant but it bugs me so much for some reason.

Spoken like a businessman and articulated better than I complained about it. Agree about the later post re. Trevelyan though. A posh bit of naughty of there was one. With a surname like that and being in the business she is she probably comes from a long line of cunts who have ripped off daft folk about buying and selling shit to common folk.

Would get it though

A quick glance at the temperature, oh 37°C not too offensive. You step outside and realise they're taking the piss. Heat index and humidity makes a feels like of 47°C

I simply don't let those kind of things bother me, after all, YOLO.

(Oxford definition) Acronym noun: An abbreviation formed from the initial letters of other words and pronounced as a word (eg ASCII, NASA).

Your link doesn't say "BBC is an acronym" anywhere, because it isn't.

(I told you this gets me illogically angry, I just got up for a piss and checked my phone, now I'm typing furiously at half three in the morning :)

You checked your phone at 3.30am ! You didn't look to see if there was an important message from family or work, instead you went into BM, found your post and replied......at 3.30am.

TWTF.

It's an acronym, the world's truly fucked.

Edit: and you had another piss 2 hours later !!!
