Able people who don't give up their seats on a train or bus for the elderly or single mums with a pram etc.

I’m old enough to remember when lads/men gave up their seats for women of all ages. I was shocked to find that no longer happens and no, I’m not a member of the burning your bra brigade (one for the older folks).

They wouldnt let me do it as it was out of town and they wanted twenty eight pounds upfront , never applied going over with my local taxi firm but just coming back , as if i could run off and not pay it

I've started using Uber, much less drama.
Don't think I'll ever go back to the usual taxi firms.
