Stuttgart vs City

Preseason game meh, flappers gonna flap, season starts next week and we will be champions come May...

Seen this posted alot. Does that mean he was better than the Special **** at Madrid who achieved less points but won the league?
Well actually the special **** the next year finished with less points and won fuck all. The following season he broke Pellegerini's record and won the league, but he only got the chance to do that as he wasn't fucked off after one year, despite doing worse than Pellegrini.

As good as he has been I cannot see Denayer getting a game ahead of any of the other 3 due to the unfortunate 'pecking order'. That is unless Pellers grows a pair......

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good flap...

We won the second half 2-0 we can't get them in Europe and it was a friendly. If you think this is a indicater for the new season your living in cloud fucking cuckoo land. Ro

Oh where do you start? It was supposed to be a "friendly". They played it like a cup final, we played it like it didn't matter, (first half anyway!). I have defended Kolorov in the past, but he was bad today, but he was not alone. Having said that, any back four will look bad if they are not protected by the midfield! Giving that job to poor George Evans was not a good choice. Was this Manuel saying to Tixi (or however you spell it!) "I need defenders, not wingers!" If the manager does not buy the players, how else can he give the buyer a nudge? That today was not the team that will try to win the league this season, but the worrying thing is the level of back up players. As someone else has already said, I think our starting centre backs should include Denayer without a doubt (I would start him with MDM to bring him on faster). He looked so composed today, as opposed to our captain who just looks to have lost it all together! Again, it is pre season and I don't believe we can ever play as bad as we did in that first half, so onwards and forever upwards, I still believe we will win the league and this year easily, no last minute drama's. Stay true Blues, keep the faith!

Sorry half cut we need back the team instead of expecting everything lets gets back to the old city laugh at the bad and enjoy the brilliance Spanish Dave best city player ive seen

Hart
Sagna (Zabba not match fit)
Denyer
Mangala
Clichy (If fit)
Fernando
Yaya (If fit)
Silva
Navas
Sterling
Nacho

That's the team id play against WBA
Kompany needs dropping and give his head a wobble. Navas gives you speed on counter and defensively sound. Denyer has been our best defender pre season.

He is our best defender 1v1 but needs organising positionally, as they all do. I recon he would easily learn to be a better right back than Sagna or Zabba & should be considered for that role too. Gives him time to pick up the pace of the Prem without every mistake costing a goal.

Second half was better. Denayer looked more composed, as did Mangala. Kelechi was good as well. Stuttgart were dirty as fuck and the ref's reluctance to punish them earlier led to that twat injuring Rony.

I think half of bluemoon can learn to be a better RB than Sagna.

Seems to be a lot of posters on here today who don't normally post (check the low post counts). Do we have some of our quiet neighbours visiting this afternoon?
Of course you have forgotten when your post count was low haven't you. Were u a rag back then too?...

Would have posted earlier but had to wade through a shit load of dummies, a few on here need to grow a pair and a few trolls need to fuck off back to the swamp and try their new kit on, sad cunts.

No real positives to come out of that game, kelechi and sterling looked great in the second half and Denayer looked composed but Stuttgart didn't bother showing up after the first half. Seemingly no change from last season, we're going to have to rely heavily on an aging Yaya bothering to turn up to grab the game by the scruff of the neck and our front 3 scoring a shed load to compensate for our complete lack of defending.

I'm struggling to understand why we signed Bony. I said at the time he doesn't have the technique to operate in the tight spaces we play in, and haven't seen anything to change my mind.

We're a finesse team and Bony is a bruiser. Doesn't look suited to the way we play. His technique is not top notch level.
