With all the money involved, it surely has to be almost a legal process. He was probably advised to plead guilty and get his punishment as low as possible.

Dude, I know this doesn't apply to your good self, but when I was a school and in the army there were a couple of individuals who labelled almost everyone a mard arse. They never used fuckwit, which is a glorious expression, but the pair of them were,, here we go, "The biggest *ucking tarts ", I'd had ever had to deal with up to that time. Totally irrational I know, but its up there with "Bright eyed and bushy tailed!", another statement that turns me(inwardly), into a deranged hispburd. It's not my place to tell people what to write, but If you can have pity on this poor soul, god will reward you!

8-12 weeks is what I thought immediately after it happened. If Liverpool are shocked and disappointed they'd do well to give me a call before they go any further.

The real story going on here is the sheer incompetence with which LFC seems to be run right now.
They fine him his wages then announce he has asked them to donate it to the Hillsborough fund?
Are they so thick and out of touch as to not see what was wrong with that, given they want the world too see them as a club, dealing with and disciplining their player?
I fully expect them to appeal and for this implosion at the club to continue and the only thing that will come of it is the player being sold anyway when he makes it clear he has had enough of his wages being "donated" to some fund he couldn't really give a rats arse about!
