Suarez 10 game ban (updated page 23)

He should just do what our lovely Brit players do and just go in two footed and try to end someone's career - job done, 3 match ban, or even better, no ban at all as an official was looking in the 'general direction' of the incident.

I don't know if it has been posted already on here but one commentator today said that if this was a normal workplace and you had an employee on £4 million a year who bit a colleague, would we be talking about a ten week holiday?

I don't think so. We put these players on pedestals and worship them like gods. That shouldn't mean we have to make allowances and excuses when they do stuff like this

Very much this mate. Bite someone in the street and see what happens!

Football see's itself as a special case far too often and in other sports, rugby for instance the guy would have been looking at a far bigger ban and rightly so.

Sorry, ujst remind me, who did he kill again ?

Since when did murderers get suspended from work for ten weeks ?

As to who he killed. Sportsmanship, decency, respect. Take your pick he killed all 3.

Nobody, he bit, that's BIT a fellow professional footballer for no apparent reason. If a dog bites someone for no reason, it gets destroyed. He's been banned from playing 10 football matches. He's got off lightly.

But had the ref seen the BITE, he'd have got a red and a thre match ban. Had he gone in two footed and broke someones leg he would have got a 3 match ban even if the ref had missed it and it was reviewed. That Wigan player the other week got rock all for a terrible challenge and Aguero played hopscotch last week without punishment. All I am saying is they have yet again over reacted and shown no consistency.

I heard that ban will be reduced to 8 games if he agrees to play in a muzzle for a month. Would that be acceptable to the forum?
