Suarez has totally let his country down and his fellow players and fans but it seems nobody in Uruguay gives a damn about that.

Uruguayans must also have very poor eyesight as he has never actually bitten anyone according to them (it was just a coming together) and is basically a saint........it's all very weird to me???.

Collective denial. But have you seen the way their national team play? They're clearly a country of fans that has no problem with the idea of cheating to win. Suarez was a hero after handballing on the line in the last World Cup. In most other countries, that would be slightly embarrassed and ironic cheering as they realised they cheated their way to the next round.
