Suarez - banned for 4 months (page 74)

It would appear the only person outside Uruguay or Merseyside (red-side) who has any sympathy for him is Diego Maradonna.
How very apt that your only supporter is a self confessed cheating, tax evading junkie. He and his familymust feel very proud.

The people of Uruguay are wholly behind him which highlights the problem, no one in his immediate circle thinks he's done anything wrong and that he is anything other than a victim.

Contrast that to the dogs abuse Beckham got for flicking a boot at Simeone.

Does anyone know how the blue side of Liverpool have reacted on their forum? I'd genuinely like to know.

The outpouring of anger from the Suarez apologists, claiming he is the wronged party, means he is not far off becoming a saint.

Chiellini should make his mind up. He was saying that FIFA wouldn't have the bottle to punish suarez, now he's saying it was too harsh a punishment!!

Suarez has totally let his country down and his fellow players and fans but it seems nobody in Uruguay gives a damn about that.

Uruguayans must also have very poor eyesight as he has never actually bitten anyone according to them (it was just a coming together) and is basically a saint........it's all very weird to me???.
Collective denial. But have you seen the way their national team play? They're clearly a country of fans that has no problem with the idea of cheating to win. Suarez was a hero after handballing on the line in the last World Cup. In most other countries, that would be slightly embarrassed and ironic cheering as they realised they cheated their way to the next round.
