you only have to look at the "its quiet " thread to see what a lot of city fans have turned into, it used to be a fun thread, now it is full of entitled people pissing and whinging , needy as fuckIs it not possible that this sudden influx of toxic, moronic City fans on social media is mostly just bots financed by the red cartel to unsettle our fanbase and players?
I’m not normally one for conspiracy theories but their arrival was very sudden, very loud and very poisonous.
I’m obviously not referring to Blue Moon, but mostly to those on social media, especially X, as there is pretty much the same number of fools on here as there’s always been.
if you take a look at the transfer thread some of the entitled whinging fuckers have been on here for yearsOne of my United supporting mates warned me about that as soon as we came successful. He said we would attract all sorts of knob head fans from all corners.

Go read some of the political threads… toxic as fuck but loads I wouldn’t like to sit next to at a game.Is it not possible that this sudden influx of toxic, moronic City fans on social media is mostly just bots financed by the red cartel to unsettle our fanbase and players?

True but I think there has always been moaners . I'm thinking of the Kippax in the seventies when , before Allison decimated a perfectly good side , Tony Book had a team competing with the best . Lots of moaners back then including a bloke who invariably rolled up pissed and stood in front of me ( I'm a medium height woman ) shouting offence the whole game. Boy , he hated everyone and everything including the ball .One of my United supporting mates warned me about that as soon as we came successful. He said we would attract all sorts of knob head fans from all corners.
I’ve said it before, but as it’s on topic, I’ll say it again … you should be able to see on here who are seasoncard holders or even have membership numbers and put their money up to support the club. Of course there will be genuine supporters who, for whatever reason, do not attend matches but I for one would like to know if the poster actually goes to any games. It would certainly help flag up any bogus posters who are out to stir shit up.
Sorry, but I'd consider that an appalling idea and if Ric ever took that on board then I would be gone.It is an interesting idea, and there would be an upside in being able to debate a match at times with somebody who actually went to it, rather than read about it and then decided to slag everybody off. Unfortunately however I am pretty sure that what you suggest would breach GDPR rules, and place quite a data protection burden on BM. Perhaps a start would be to have a dedicated post match thread for people who self identify as members. Obviously people could lie, and contribute anyway, but I actually think that the real toxic idiots don’t want to interact on a limited basis anyway, they want to spew bile at the widest audience possible.
Or Ian BowyerIf you are aware of our history then you will realise toxic city fans are not a new thing, ask Richard Edghill.

Online 'City fans' behave like Man Utd because they are Man Utd.Yeah we've definitely become what we hated in a larger sense as a club. We're a fashion accessory for some.
Agree about the fashion accessories, a certain band from burnage brought a lot of them lately, and yep everyone takes it too serious now that we are winning stuff.Yeah we've definitely become what we hated in a larger sense as a club. We're a fashion accessory for some.
Very true, I learned from an early age never to take anything too seriously and most of that was down to city being shite, this new breed of demanding win win win take everything seriously and get wound up far to easily, as has been said we have become what we used to laugh atThe current level of toxicity is bad, but this is merely a ripple compared to the tsunami of what will happen - if Pep declines (see wenger arsenal) or our next manager(s) fail to live up to previous (united).
NOW LIKE MY POST YOU CUNTS OR IM GOING TO FUCKING BATTER NEXT DOORS CAT AND SMASH SOME SHIT UPVery true, I learned from an early age never to take anything too seriously and most of that was down to city being shite, this new breed of demanding win win win take everything seriously and get wound up far to easily, as has been said we have become what we used to laugh at

With success, especially sustained success you gain glory hunting weirdos. And when the success slows down their only outlet in life is vent and they have no real passion or connection to the team.Is it not possible that this sudden influx of toxic, moronic City fans on social media is mostly just bots financed by the red cartel to unsettle our fanbase and players?
