Anybody that wants to know more about how it feels to be an asylum seeker will find a new film available on Sky both interesting and moving. Aisha is a film about a Nigerian asylum seeker within the Irish direct provision system. Whilst it is set in Ireland there are many parallels with the UK. Staring Letitia Wright (Black Panther) and Josh Oconner (The Crown) both give incredibly authentic performances. Written and Directed by Frank Berry who has been compared to Ken Loach it’s an incredibly powerful film.

I was just about to put it on then I saw the Ken Loach part. There's gloomy, there's depressing, there's dark and then there's Ken Bloody Loach.
