We're not losing the title to the scum because our players aren't good enough. If it all came down to individual player ability then United would be much lower down the table. When I see those players (who are not top class by any stretch of the imagination) playing for scum, they look like they're playing for a powerful, championship winning side (except first half of charity shield, 6-1 and athletico bilbao) but our players (although better in quality) look capable of mistakes all the time (2nd half of the season).

I'm sure Hazard would add a few moments of genius that would win us matches like yesterday, but we have the players who are good enough to win it (ability wise), just like the Madrid Galacticos of the 90's didnt win everything every year when on paper they were a dream team.

It's something more than names on a team sheet and playing fantasy football!

Fabio, cleverley can owen have hardly players for united this season so I don't know why your choosing to compare them and I would definitely take evans over toure.
United have a stronger squad and play a more effective and simple formation than us.

Tevez for me is the only position that needs strengthening. I am hoping that kids like Rekik, Razak, Suarez etc can come in and flesh out a squad. We should also use players like Milner who have been under-utilised. We have moved on from De Jong. Can't have a player in a passing team who can't pass.

Who's their 2nd left-back then if it's not Fabio? - Kolarov is ours.
Who's one of their 2nd midfielders if Cleverly's not? - Milner is one of ours.
Who's one of their strikers on the bench, maybe Berbatov is 4th choice then and Dzeko is ours?
Evans is ok, but not a class above Kolo. Wes Brown and John O'Shea were back up defenders to a title winning scum for years and they're very average at Sunderland now.

One thing to me is that they have space in their 22 man squad for young players who are on their way through, and they get a game, their trusted and they play a part, despite not expecting to play every week. We don't have that, we want all 22 men to be of the highest level and I think scum show that that isn't necessarry.
 
For me players like zabaleta make good squad players. Never moan when not playing an never let you down when they play. Milner is also decent for the bench but not sure he will be happy with that.

Dzeko, Johnson and kolo can all go for me.
 
Definetly out: Tevez, RSC, Bridge, De Jong, Adebayor, Kolo Toure.

Still wouldn't sell Dzeko unless a top offer came in and he wants to go. Probably same for AJ.

A midfielder like Martinez. A Cb. 1 wide attacker to provide width, 2 if Johnson is sold.

Also expect the likes of Razak, Rekik, Guidetti, Suarez, Abu etc....to be given a chance in pre-season to impress and then maybe stay or go out on loan.
 
Duncan Castles says in the Sunday Times that Tevez, Dzeko, and Balotelli are all heading for the exit. (Adebayor too of course)

I'm not sold that this will happen but if so who do we sign?

We'd need to buy at least two others. Probably a Cavani/Higuain/Van Persie type player for one forward role and maybe a Lavezzi/Hazard/wide player for the other?
