I agree with you on the Isco bit but where does Ilky then fit in????? Illy himself is a top class player but I think things started to go a bit wrong after our great start when Pep was trying to fit all his midfielders onto the pitch.....and you also still have Ferna to think about though Im sure he could play in the fullback role or even as a centre half

If we buy Isco, the 4, Isco, Debryune, Silva and Gundogan become the 4 man rotation for 3 spots. They all can play all 3 positions. With Garcia as the 5th CM who plays every cup game guaranteed and some League games during crowded schedules..

Dihno I believe falls back into the defense line and likely replaces Kompany as the 4 CB and emergency RB or Left back. He'll also get some games at CM in crunches (injuries, heavy schedule etc).

Those are the 6 midfielders for next season in my opinion. With Dihno being a defender who now Cameos as a midfielder. And we'll be better off for it.

I think Fernandinho wil continue mainly in midfield. And i think we'll sign so many top defenders this summer. That we won't need him to cover our defense that often.

And if we sign someone like Isco. He could also play with KDB, Gundogan/Fern AND Silva. When Gundogan was fit....we sometimes played with Fern-KDB-Silva-Gundogan + Sterling and Aguero. And it worked quite well most of the time.

That's why we might not need another pure winger to cover Sane/Sterling. You don't always need to play with 2 wingers at the same time.

I think the key for us are 2 rampaging full backs. Grimaldo is the ideal choice for me at left back, not seen enough of Heinrichs but Pep seems to rate him highly so I would be happy with these two.

We still need one more CB at least, Van Dijk being the obvious choice. Then with Isco and Sanchez being available, I would be tempted to try and bring one or at least both of these players in.

As much as I love Hart, I don't want to see him back. Ederson is more suited to our new system and is young.
