Summer Transfers

I don’t for a minute believe we have done anything on Kane either. A transfer of that magnitude would inevitably leak out from both sides. The journalists closest to both clubs would know something long in advance of a random on here and Mickey Francis on Facebook

mentioned him a few times in the last few weeks mate, he would be a soon a fairly cheap deal as Madrid need to sell

Madrid is the only club that sell their unwanted players with profit.

Jovic value should go down after spending the whole season on the bench, but somehow Madrid will manage to sell him with higher value.

I'll bet you whatever you like that if they sell Jovic this summer he won't go for more than the £54m they paid.

we certainly are not getting Mbappe ever

Haaland - everyone will be in for him and we have shown we wont get into bidding wars for players.

That is wrong, just think if we would have got Maguire last season, Angelino would have been a success, Sane would not have left, who would we have bought this season? we are building towards a squad capable of going a season needing only 1 signing, a major signing, the 3 things above plus Laporte`s injury and Stones brainstorm means it will not be this season, that we go out and buy a worldy capable of paying for his fee on shirt sales alone, just as Real claimed James`s fee was, Mbappe, Haaland are definite targets if we get this window right

2 strikers are enough. Which team has 3 ? I don‘t know why people expect another striker for next season tbh. Most teams even go into the season with only one main striker. And since most people see Jesus as Aguero‘s successor ( I don‘t) it makes no sense going for another striker. Neither do I think that Haaland would suit our playing style but well each their own. Unless Pep Switches to the 3-5-2 more consistently it‘s nonsense. And then u could play Sterling upfront with one of Kun or Jesus.

Just about every team has 3 strikers they find it quite helpful when playing a 4,4,2 formation, having a striker on the bench to freshen up the attack, having 3 strikers means that when Aguero is knackered or injured as he is going to be for most of next season and Jesus goes off from we do not have to rely on a teenager, or a winger, i do not know about you but i like a winger to play as a winger and a goalkeeper to play as a goalkeeper, they tend to play better there, As for Haaland i recon he would be the same as Aguero maybe not as clinical but a better target man.

Who plays 442 thsee days, none of the top teams thats for sure, the top teams are much more fluid with their system, 442 is far to rigid and players are far more adaptable, it isn’t 1982.
