Summer - what's the worst that could happen

On a day when we should all be full of enjoyment looking back on the most brilliant of seasons, I can't help but think how different next year could look.

Kompany - Gone
D. Silva - can't do full season ?
Aguero - not first 11 ?
Fernandinho - can't do full season ?
Gundo - going ?
Otta - going ?
Sane - off ?

Whilst you could argue we have a first 11 that doesn't need these players (not sure if that's true in respect of Aguero), if all the above happen, this would be a big hit on squad depth & rotation.

I presume the club have replacements almost already secured that they are confident will not just replace these players but push us on to the next level.

Summer's going to be very interesting

Kompany will leave.
Silva will become a squad player.
Aguero will still be a first team player.
Fernandinho will be a squad utility player and move in to the defence.
Gundogan has proven himself to be a great option and will renew.
Otamendi will leave but we'll sign a replacement.
No idea about Sané.

Pep knows you can’t stand still
We will buy fresh young players to challenge and let others leave
Kdb will lead this team now with him fit we will have a new dimension
Whether we stay at top I don’t know but we will be there or thereabouts

I always feel when a team like this City one comes around, it has to be refreshed after a few years. Pep will know what players have done everything they can over the last few years and will see it’s time for a change, he’s even said that a few days ago. We’ve stood still in the past after being successful, but we’ve now got a hierarchy that is probably very best at squad planning. Even if it’s means us being slightly less successful next season, I presume we will sign players this summer to set us up for the future.

Worst that could happen is a bunch of players move on and we get a transfer ban that being said I'm confident we can get 40 points by the end of the season

I think the hardest thing is losing Vincent. The guy is city to its core. We obviously need to be chasing players with similar drive, ambition, talent and heart.

We got so lucky with silva Agüero and kompany. Three players who who driven this club with such determination.

Definitely the place won’t be the same without Vinny might take a bit of getting used to. When we’re losing and things aren’t going well he’s the one the lads looked to not having him there for those moments will be difficult I think but we have to move on now I’m sure he’ll be back some day hopefully as boss

We’ve proven time and time again that individuals (even Vinny) are not directly replaceable but that we can move on, adapt and become stronger as a result and I have no doubt under Pep that will happen again.
