I think the biggest contribution Pep has made to us is that we are not reliant on a core of players in quite the same way. In the early 00s, you'd look at a team sheet and if even one of Yaya, Aguero, Kompany or Silva was missing then I'd feel nervous. Now it feels like, regardless of who is missing, we can still win the game based on a system where every player knows their role. When you look at what we have achieved this season, and then realize that Kev has been out for stretches, Fernandinho has been out for the run-in, and Bernie and Gundogan have been our best players for a few months, and we have a squad of players more than willing to step up and take the opportunities.
