Sunderland v City post match

He rarely gets isolated when playing at CB as generally teams only play 1 up, at left back it is easy to target him and 1v1 he is hopeless as too slow.
Yeah I get that, but he looks hopeless defending at LB, yet at CB he looks composed, its a huge change from one to the other. I know one of the issues is that he's expected to get forward from LB, and he often gets caught out of position, but at CB he doesn't even look slow, but a key thing is he can be front foot at CB, and rarely has to turn, whereas at LB he often needs to turn or is on the retreat.

He's played 24/26 PL games, so Pep clearly rates him, and thinks he's reliable.

It just wasn't fair was it ?
Watching David Silva is like watching Caravaggio paint or Frank Sinatra sing, the guys the Loenardo Di Vinci of football

Ffs just like the thread last night re Sane article in the Mail, why are we all getting classical ;-)

Great performance. Especially defensively.
Not happy with Silva's goal being ruled offside but there you go.

The improvement from last year is clear for all to see, Sterling is a different player, Kolorov at cb great move, delighted with our progress we are a good side, another window we will be a great side ;-)
Every single one of them is fitter and slimmer as well

Yeah Silva was miles onside but nobody can say that Sterling wasn't an active player from an offside position in that move. Definitely offside

Loved how when it counted Yaya really got stuck in chasing down any straw passes.

There's real spirit in this team.

Professional!
Willy 7 did well when called upon, distribution was for the majority very good!
Sagna 6 that cross was fucking tragic
Stones 7 very good on the ball, couple of good blocks too
Kolarov 8 would not be surprised to see him at centre half next season
Clichy 7 good, solid performance and great with the ball
Dinho 7 mr consistent
Yaya 8 effortlessly brilliant
Silva 8 see above
Sterling 7 not his best but kept at it and got a great assist.
Sane 8 always a danger
Aguero 7 incredible work rate
Kdb didnt really have much of an impact, ditto delph. Nolito looked sharp

Just to say how much of a difference having a good ref made,no drama for either side and must be the first time in ages no-one was booked, clearly not on the stag do
