Sunderland Vs City Post Game Discussion Thread

the other thing that annoyed me today was when Dzeko came on, he seemed to spend more time on the fucking wing, than in the box. the lack of width does seem to be dragging our strikers deeper and wider than they should be

first of all,we all shud stop overrating our players...
we r a new bunch... our team gets represented thru us...
but we arent doing anythn good imo...
wen hart has a wonderful game,we say he is the best in the world, while definitely he isnt... jz look at the great games dat inter GK has been havin... hart isnt even as gud as him.. forget casilas buffon and all...
then we say kompany is the best defender in the world... we r dng the same mistakes as dose rags do,sayin vidic is the best even nw...
nw,a new 19 year old defender... i have seen city fans sayin he will b maldini n all.. lets stop dat crap and see hw the kid develops...
our players arent as gud as v make dem out to b... and we r being seen as fools by other people wen results dont go our way... our performance has been so bad dis season.. our best performance was in the first 15 mins against united and forst 30 mins against newcastle... and second half agnst swansea... other than that we have been pretty average... and the problem started from the transfer window...
mancini wanted hazard RVP and derosssi... mihajlovic(former inter assistant) told mancini abt nastasic n he was signed... but we got garcia instead of derossi n sinclair instead of hazard(AJ left us too)...
we r weaker dan we were last season... silva had the best season of his career last season.. yaya too... we cant expect dem always to continue dat... both of dem were famous for deir inconsistency at deir former clubs... all dis shit was coming... the only way we wl improve is if all our players hit the form like dey did at the start of last season... and also make a good signing in january to boost our creativity.. we arent gettin another striker... to supply dem more chances is the nly way we r gonna score...

very frustrating watching us play this season as many have said we are very predictable and other teams have found a simple way to combat our play.

If we carry on playing in the same way we certainly won't win the league. I can't see us changing either.

People blaming Joe Hart for today's loss, need to get a check-up. If we can't score a single goal against, Sunderlund, there's bigger problems.

Agreed. Same with moaning about the free kick on Zaba that wasn't given. Fact is Sunderland on the break created the better openings than we did over the 90 minutes.

Sunderland player of the game was Mignolet according to the first three sets of ratings I searched for on t'net just now...wonder why?

Anyone who saw Sunderlands win at Southampton a few days ago knows that this lad is , without doubt , an excellent goalkeeper ..... but you have to find a way past goalkeepers such as this.

2009/2010: Sunderland 1-1 City, Stoke 1-1 City, Everton 2-0 City
2010/2011: Sunderland 1-0 City, Stoke 1-1 City, Everton 2-1 City
2011/2012: Sunderland 1-0 City, Stoke 1-1 City, Everton 1-0 City
2012/2013: Sunderland 1-0 City, Stoke 1-1 City, Everton vs. City to be played

It's maddening and pissing me off, I hate the whole "bogey team" concept but this is just a piss-take now.

Maddening how consistent we are in those fixtures.

Point is that we did create very good openings in the game but didn't put em away. The performance was good enough to win the game...the finishing was not and THIS is our problem right now.

It's not about Mingolet or any Sunderland player having a stormer is our teams fault, watching today I could have been watching us vs anyone in the league. Teams have realised to pack the box then break quickly as well spend 90% of our time passing in front of their 18 yd line. Need to buck our ideas up and make 1/2 really good signings and I still see the prem back with us.
