Sunderland Vs City Post match Discussion Thread

I'm sorry, this is going to upset a lot of his fans, but how long is the manager going to let Yaya get away with these
totally under par performances. He walks, yes walks, around with seemingly little interest. Maybe the game is not big enough
for HIM, but as captain he has the responsibility to motivate and gee the other players up. I would ask him to lead by example,
but that seems beyond him.

on the 1st half, he busy covering for Garcia. can't you see that? hahaha.

we are better in the 2nd half when Milner move centrally. we can see Yaya starting get involved in most City's attack.

Garcia was good in his last two performances and was crocked early in this one. Don't have a problem with his selection and Milner was just as bad IMO.

For those who clamoured for playing Richards, Milner and Lescott please see the reality. They are not good enough. Richards is a complete liability and seems only good for joking about on official site videos. First half he was completely out of position and gave them free reign to attack our RHS then once Navas started to take them on and cause some problems what does the fool do? Runs aimlessly into the space Navas wants to go and stands about making no attempt to drag defenders about - this is why Navas had to start coming inside. Milner well he had the chance to show what he can do but resorted to hoofing long balls onto the head of O'Shea (three times) Finally Lescott must have glass in his boots I have never seen anyone run in such pain! He had three chances yet his headers went twenty feet wide- awful. At the end there was a telling moment Demichelis was charging about trying to inject pace into the game when they launched it up field then Lescott got on the end of a clearance- took three touches then went sideways and we were desperate to get the ball forward. Get rid of him he's past it. Yaya has shown he's no captain - give it back to Zaba and finally for all those blaming the manager - it was the players apathy that lost us the game today not his team selection - A few games ago many posters on here wanted our English contingent in, be careful what you wish for. Rant over.

If I once went from playing alongside in midfield with Xavi & Iniesta/De Jong and Silva all the way to Milner and Garcia, I would be sticking half arsed performances too.

We will nothing in the league until Pellegrini totally changes his approach. His record is shocking that is 9 out of 10 defeats away from home on the spin with City and Malaga. He has no idea how to set the team up to avoid embarrassment and did it again today. The only difference is that we failed to take the lead first. No tactical nous, no ability to inlfuence the game off the bench and when it was crying out to change the formation he brings on like for like and leaves it at 4-4-2. Totally clueless. Given some of our spineless away performances he could have reorganised and gone with 4-5-1- or even 4-4-1-1 today. Only an eternal optimist would seriously believe this City team under Pellegrini is capable of mounting a challenge for the title especially this year

That's what Navas does and that's why we signed him. The manager needs to look at players not getting into the box especially Dzeko

I'd really rather a player could do more than one thing. Navas is fundamentally wrong for the team and tactics.

Nonsense. We played 1000% better as soon as we got him on. He got 3 or 4 decent crosses in and won 2 or 3 corners as well. Before he came on, we created NOTHING on the right side.

1000% improvement would surely see us score?

Not bothered as my arsenal top came today!!

We were 8 points behind the scum but still won the league. Stop your fookin whinging!!!

Yeah and the big difference then there was ONE team that had to drop points. We are now relying on six teams to drop points!

I know six city fans who quit the the club today . . . just utterly pathetic, CITY'S DEAD.

GOOD. Don't need or want plastic fans at our club.

What would you rather see: plastic fans or plastic seats?

Firstly when you have to make 3 changes through injury, why make 2 more ?

Changing both fullbacks and therefore making 3/4 changes at the back was fucking madness and I doubt a non league manager would make that mistake.

The two players brought in......Richards.....fucking garbage. No wonder he doesn't get picked for England . He was absolute shit. Offered nothing going forward and where was he for the goal? Why wasn't it him marking their player? Don't offer him another contract. Would be a total waste of money.

Kolorov back to his worst. Milner (our best player when he isn't playing according to many) watch that game again and tell me what he contributes? Gash. Garcia nothing,

We were fucking shit today and no one played well.

Title is a dream. 4 losses out of 6 away is ridiculous and it doesn't matter how many teams we batter at home, until we sort this shambles top 4 is at risk.

Fucking awful
