Sunderland Vs City Post match Discussion Thread

Having gone to the game all the way from Worthing (6 hour drive there and back) with my girlfriend, spending well over 200 quid in the process I could not help but feel a bit sick watching that. I have seen some dark dark days watching city questioning why do I spend all my wage watching them all over the country (especially when a home game costs me a fair amount). The way we played was so slow, predictable and the players looked tired. As I was walking out a young lad (no older than 7) seemed to have more ideas than the current manager. The way the players trudged off the pitch at the end without even clapping the fans really pissed me off. At the whistle all you could hear was the city fans singing "we never win at home..." . The players dont deserve the fans. The lack of passion for the shirt is seriously worrying. But with all that being said I can not wait for spurs at home in a few weeks. CTID.

know how you feel

A Sunderland fan said to me as I walked back to our coach: "The only guaranteed 3 points per season, Manchester City at home." He wasn't being nasty or anything just said it in a matter of fact way. What could I do but give him a (sickly) grin.

As soon as the commentator said it's the best attack vs the worst defense...I knew we'd get beat.

Typical City never disappeared....it was just a fking one-off miracle it wasn't Typical City when we won the league.

Was hugely disappointed with Nasri yesterday, he kept dropping back behind the half way line to collect the ball, when we needed him drifting into the hole behind the strikers to create the option of a forward pass. He also misplaced a few very simple 5/10 yard passes which is most unlike him.

I thought he'd really step up with no Silva but he had a poor game.

i dont understand why the need to unsettle the back 4 with so many injuries, we need some consistency in there. Keep Zab and Clichy in, as they are the usual full backs. The whole back 5 have had no game time together and it completely upsets the whole balance.

Saying that the goal should not of stood, was definitely a foul, and Larsen should not of been on the pitch.. BUT we should not be struggling to teams as poor as them.
