Super League - Positives only!

Far fewer shit ties against rubbish teams on the autumn and much more glamour ties all year round.

There's anther positive...

Where is that information? I thoight all we'd been told is who chair and vice-chair is? That doesn't matter as long as equal voting rights exist which I'm sure they will do. No way City would accept anything else.
Mate we're 1-5 down on votes on any City related issue just with the premier league clubs in that scenario as certain letters have shown in the past. Barca, Real, Juve and Atleti aren't going to take our side either. The ECA at least had another 300 members that weren't going to let this lot take the piss and run amok.

Its not really a positive or a negative but one thing that dawned on me last night, is the Super league would be able to make decisions about the game without ratifying it with FIFA/UEFA, so technically you could see rules diverge from what we know today (ie, a different implementation of technology like VAR, number of substitutions allowed, the use of timeouts (HEAVEN FORBID)). You could even see the potential for some of the fundamentals of the sport to change like Rugby Union/League...

The whole of football doesn't have "Destroy Man City" in Latin under their badges, mate. All of these clubs will vote in their own interests just like we will. This league will be the "cosy cartel" that eveyone has been accusing UEFA of being and we will be in it. I'm not saying that's a good thing, but it's certainly better than the alternative.

It will kill the PL
Bit like the PL has killed the FL, I suppose.
I do love the ‘not top 6’ PL clubs bitching and moaning that it’s not fair (meaning they might lose cash) but not actually giving a shit about Bury and the like going to the wall.
Championship clubs living as close to the edge as possible, all for the riches of the PL. I would have a lot more sympathy if Burnley, for example, wanted to split the tv cash into 92 equal amounts of cash (or more if you included the national league) to ensure the survival of all but, if they were asked to vote for that, they’d vote unanimously against.
