Super League - Positives only!

We won't be the target of empty seat jibes and memes emanating from social media, as every club will have them.

Actually, come to think of it we still will as its only ever picked up on when its City

I’m not trying to start a thread for the sake of it, it’s clear as day how we feel.

We all know the downside, so let’s keep them to the other threads.

But to play devils advocate, what are the actual positives here?
One I can think of is the broadcasters need a kick up the arse.

It’s 2021 and we still cannot watch 4K premier league football or champs league thanks to sky and bt. We’re being charged a fortune for a last gen experience.

Will this prompt referee reform?

interested to hear some reasoned thoughts. If that’s too much of an ask, please leave this post to those willing to have a reasoned discussion about this.
Are you serious? You still can not watch 4k premier league football? Its actually relatively straight forward prior to Covid and would be again. Buy a ticket and watch the match live rather than TV !! And believe me - with this shitstorm of an idea it will be bloody easy to get tickets

How many tickets have you managed to get this year?

Covid aside, I live in Dublin. I did most games in 2011/2012 and after flights, food and ticket I was spending 500 quid per game. It involved 4am flights and you’d be so tired you couldn’t even take in the game properly. These days I do 1 game a season.

So plenty of folk rely on the broadcasts as we can’t make 60 games per season.

if covid doesn’t bring this point home about the importance of tv and the role it plays, you’ve missed the point.
