Supporters Club tickets

Probably the 18-25, osc's or junior pull through.

Must be so tough to only have 48 hours to pay for the ticket - i get 20 minutes.

As you say the club have no interest in sorting away tickets out as it doesnt increase their margin.
You’re logging in to buy city are just randomly sending out emails for payment. So if you don’t check your emails regularly or don’t have notifications on it could easily be missed. Especially later on in the season if you’ve a few games coming together

That's a good guess.

It's not about being tough. It's about the OSC doing it, just like they've done for decades. It works.

Getting 3000 tickets X £30 x 19 = £1.710.000 earning interest is better than not earning any interest at all, even though it's a smal amount of revenue in the grand scheme of things. I suppose all revenue streams add up at the end of the City financial year.

I think us old cunts over 50 should be last on the list the youngsters make the atmosphere and should be given priority there our future,
The majority of foc’s just moan like fuck you couldn’t get them excited if you gave them Beyoncé naked sat on there knee

I'm 55 years old.

City scoring get's me more excited than taking Viagra. ;-)
I’m 82 and I still get very excited and yell when City score!
Unfortunately recently it’s only been my neighbours who have heard it but when I’ve been at the games I’m the one making all the noise.
Generalising about it being just the youngsters making a noise or generalising that the oldies are deathly quiet is not solving problems.
It’s swings and roundabouts, sometimes the youngsters are super noisy sometimes the oldies! :-)

None of that income is Citys though.

The only time the oldies are noisy is a January night match when there teeth are chattering:):)

Valid point.

In that case, why change something that has worked well for decades?

So what do you think the reason is for the change? Having more control over away tickets now demand for away tickets has gone through the roof after last season?

Remind me again one of the reasons why Sheikh Mansour bought City? Khaldoon also mentioned. Because of our loyal supporters. Where does that loyalty rank now amongst Khaldoon, Soriano and the other City board members?
The club is pretty much unrecognisable since the takeover. Comments from Khaldoon and Cook in Blue Moon Rising spoke volumes.

This is the price of success. The club is going more corporate.

I'm not sure, possibly to make the OSC allocation more transparent and see where the tickets allocated are actually going?

The names being submitted to the club by the branch I'm in for away tickets this season are the same names that were submitted last season. Making branch members pay for their away tickets within 48 hours via the club instead of paying for away tickets via the branch makes no difference whatsoever. OSC branch members aside. In general digital and printed away tickets can still be sold or passed on.

I take it people are happy with corporate members getting an away ticket just because they are in a position to afford a corporate package?

And if they don't use that away ticket, which many of them probably don't do, where do you think those away tickets end up? Either given away to somebody they know who wants to go to an away game, but has little it no loyalty points, or sold on to a resell ticket website.
Do you mean Corporate or Hospitality? Very different. Hospitality allocation is now subjected to a ballot; and hospitality ST holders don’t receive loyalty points each time they renew; and they can’t join a cup scheme where they get loyalty points either. Corporate members I have no idea about.
