Sven Goran Eriksson | Passes away from cancer aged 76 (p 32)

RIP Sven, a real gentleman.

He did well enough with England and maybe if he'd had a touch more luck we might have really pushed for a final. How he kept his head up despite the constant hounding and undermining is beyond me. Given what we know now about phone hacking, it's a testament he didn't walk out.

He did a really good job for us and I thought, especially after the dire Pearce years. I thought if Pearce had stayed for another season, we would be relegated. However, Sven brought some pride back to the club and brought in some great players.
 
Watching the Sven documentary on Prime. 19 minutes in and all is interesting. Then enter the British scumbag press and I have to take a pause. I'm now going to listen to Neil Wallis of the News of the World and my skin is literally crawling.

The gentleman that is Sven versus these cunts. Yuck.
