I seem to remember that before the 8-1 at Boro it was common knowledge that Sven was being fired and the players pretty much downed tools in protest. We were about to qualify for Europe through the Fair Play league and Dunney got himself sent off after fifteen minutes putting that in jeopardy, scraped through by a couple of points out of a thousand in the end

It was by the Liverpool match. Fulham home was an awful capitulation too.

Is it also possible that the players didn’t like him? It’s evident he had little more than a Plan A and was the big name Shinawatra needed to announce himself.
