Swansea - Post match thread

Was delighted to see Fern at right back, then he had a stinker!

Fantastic first half display, Sane & Silva unplayable down our left

I think in that first 30 minutes, it's as bad as I've seen Fernandinho play in a city shirt.

His distribution was horrific, made the wrong choice of pass 9 times from 10.

Strangely, I thought he played well positionally. He was reading the game well and never got caught to far up the pitch

Thought we were superb in the first half, but Swansea played well after the break. Guardiola seemed a bit slow to make changes, and you can sense their equaliser was coming. Always great to get a last minute winner though, deserved reward for those who stay until the end.

All credit to everyone who stayed till the end to cheer the boys over the line. Fuck off to the early leavers, I'm glad you missed the winner.

Ha ha yes. I watched the bald troglodyte that was looking to kick off on the way in leave before we scored the winner. I hope his sweaty obese wife hadn't shit herself too much to mean his Viagra didn't kick in because otherwise he missed out.

[EDIT: the above is absolute shit poetry]

Swanseas manager says they deserved more? Really??? They may have shaded the second half but our total first half domination was frightening. Overall we more than deserved the 3 points and the stats back that up

This is the first time I have left 10 mins before the end (was watching on TV in Spain) when stream failed.
However must consider it again if we score when I am not watching.

I bet the journo's who were there didn't like our last minute goal, ruined their bile for tomorrow, bet they all go with sergio so they can write something horrible

Yep. Think he needs to pay a little more attention during the game.

I thought Swansea were terrible in the first half. They were always going to improve but that shouldn't kid him into thinking they deserved something

Phew....
: DINO is not a full back
: Clichy is finished as a full back. Weak, indecisive, getting towards the end of a very good career
: Sterling is not,and may never be,an elite player
: David Silva is not a Captain for a team in adversity.

I want City to be the All Blacks of football......beautiful,ruthless winners.

Thought Pep slow to make changes in 2nd half and that nearly cost us. City clearly lost their drive 2nd half. Stirling was ok today but it wasnt his best game, he cleary is not the player Àguero is. He needed to be subbed earlier imo. But a great win nonetheless. Sane is getting better every game. Jesus is a natural goal scorer. And finally David Silva is still the best creative mid in the Prem. So so consistent and a joy to watch.

We've spent so long lamenting our lack of strikers and reliance on Kun since the club decided to sell Dzeko, Negredo, Jovetic, Tevez etc and claim to replace them with fecking Bony. Now, we finally have a striker to reduce that reliance and bolster our attack and suddenly some of our fans seem desperate for Aguero to go and put us back in that position. Honestly, I don't get some of our so-called supporters. Maybe it's just a case of the Sky Sports generation looking for drama and controversy at every corner.

My exact thoughts, too.

I totally agree clichy needs to go at the end of the season but hope the fans don't turn on him. Been a very good signing for us over the years.

You seem like a nice person

Has anyone mentioned by the way, that the Swansea "goal" should have been disallowed since the offside Swansea player was CLEARLY interfering.

Funny how when that happens to us, there's an endless media frenzy about it, but when it's the other way around, nothing is said.
