Swansea V City post match thread

For me, if he gives the pen he is saying it is an intentional elbow and therefore should send him off. I don't see how he can give a pen for it and do anything other than show him a red.
Ah right, now I get you. I thought the new rule was not to give a penalty and a red for the same offence? You're right though, the ref did indicate he gave it for an elbow. In my opinion, it wasn't an elbow.

Watched it on a stream which wasnt hje best quality. Wasnt like previous weeks but still a good win. Raheem played well and took his goal very well. Hard going away from home in the prem and its 3 points.

P.s
Just another 22 points until we are safe
You need to get on that Sports Dictator Twitter account. I had a HD stream with absolutely minimal interruptions.

As I understand it, the rule is only for denying a clear goalscoring opportunity. You can still be sent off if a pen is given for violent conduct.

Credit to Swansea, they made a good fist of today's match & even though it wasn't enough for them our patchy display was enough for the three points. Sterling was my MoTM. Sagna had a game to forget, after his slip for their equaliser, he just looked like he'd lost all composure & confidence & it came as no surprise he was substituted.

All said & done it was a welcome three points.
