who can find me a direct quote from Shaunny where he says he 'wants more money' ?

I've asked this several times of the SWP haters and not one has found anything.
 
Extremely good point! Yea Shaunys not played well for the last couple of months but players have come in and played well so its not all doom and gloom! How anyone can have a bad word to say about Shauny after all hes done for us is a disgrace! Short minded fickle morons!
 
Fans need a boo boy though. And what with Dunnie sold in the summer and Robinho shipped out to Brazil, why not SWP?

Why bring it up if it's not the issue. Of course it's the issue.
 
Im not a shauny hater by any means but in the interview that he supposedly gave ( although i dont trust the media one bit ) he never directly said he wanted more cash but brought up the issue of money indirectly about four times in that interview. So one could say he protests a little bit 2 much for it not to be about that. Also if it isnt about the cash what other significant details of the contract would be stopping him from signing, if its the length and he wants a longer contract then surely he should have to earn it year in year out than just have it handed to him, we have been there before with Danny Mills.

OK, so when he says, "that's not the issue for me," he obviously means, "yeah. it's all about money,"

FAIL.
 
fair play stoner blue but if it isnt the issue why mention that and not the issue? If i say to you i dont like you but its not your shoes and then dont tell you the reason why i dont like you do you then think well at least its not my shoes or do you think whats up with my shoes. its drawing attention to the point without stating it directly.

Its a hypothetical point but surely you see the idea of drawing attention to a subject without directly mentioning it. Also like i said in a previous post if it isnt about the cash why not just sign it?

It's not as simple as saying 'I want more money'

SWP has got over 2 years on his contract on £60k a week. He's been offered an extra year extension on 70k a week and yet despite supposedly loving the club he's rejected it. The official word is that he wants a 5 year deal but City would be stupid to offer him one

Hmm...I'm guessing your not his biggest fan then Zin?

He's not done enough to be given pay parity with himself this season let alone those on more than him.

I don't doubt that Shaun wants more money, it is probably natural when you see others around you earning double. I'm not saying it is right but there are a lot of players who have let the club down over the years and I wouldn't put Shaun in the category at all. Shaun looks short of confidence at the moment and the contract stuff may well have affected this but he has been excellent for us for quite a lot of seasons so people choosing to judge him on a poor half season really need to give him a break. There is no reason to believe he can't get his form back and play a reasonable part in City's squad. I also think it is really unfair for people to judge him on things that his dick of a dad says although Shaun really should have come out and said that those were his dad's opinions and not his.
 
Sorry LCBblue basically just a hypothetical way of saying he is drawing attention to something without saying it directly!

I use to be his biggest mate, I put the moving on to Chelsea as a none starter, chance to better himself etc, though the handling of the affair was niave at best, then I watchbthe kid throw his career away by being a Paris, and content to warm a bench, then he returns to what appeared to All as a chance to reignite his career...... What does willis do? Fool me once, fair play, twice..... Not on the zimmer mans watch
