just read about this on the BBc Sport website where they describe SWP's actions as.........

........."lashing out".............

which is a disgraceful exaggeration by the BBC?

um,... isn't "lashing out" just an accurate description of what he did?

Hardly lashing out was it. The problem here is not the fact that he's been suspended (although 3 games is ridiculous) it's the inconsistency of the FA. When he was charged I emailed the FA to complain and have had no response. Has anybody else who contacted them had a satisfactory explanation?

*sigh*

i cant tell if its sheer idiocy or if it honestly is just pandering to certain teams.

i mean, if the FA is going to show any consistency at all (laughable really) then surely the linesman who didn't act on the bosingwa incident needs reprimanding also? its basically condoning his violent behaviour.

does anyone know that he has?

id write an email of complaint if i felt it would make even the slightest dent, but i believe that they will continue on bumbling through the seasons in a bubble of ineptitude and further and further distancing themselves from the fans who keep football alive.

its a crying shame

he did lash out in response, nothing wrong with saying that IMO. Natural reaction I would have done the same, the FA are a joke we all know that but meh, move on & lets get on with it.

I sent an e-mail a few days ago no response and have just sent another asking them to explain how Delap and SWP both get the same 3 game bans, when delap kicks him to the floor and boots ball at him from close range and SWP reacts as anyone would IMO
