Good signing, and he adds yet more experience to the defence. If Bridge is injured/suspended it's good to have someone like this to come in as a replacement. If we had a real injury crisis maybe Bridge could cover in midfield with Syvinho left back or vice versa, but it gives us more options if we need them. Sylvinho has that winning mentality that has been talked about so much, coming from Barca he'll expect to win every game, regardless of who we're facing. On a free as well, very good business.
