Further on from the topic the other day I see Syrians are now panicking in Germany because with Assad gone a lot will be being sent back home and now they don’t want to go back .

Am I right in remembering you saying that you or your family were refugees from Hungary? If so, how come you're still here and didn't go back when the Soviet Union collapsed and the country became free? Or were you economic migrants?

I suppose while the western narrative is that the proscribed terrorist group that have taken over from Assad are 'rebels' (freedom fighters) then it does undermine any claim for asylum.
