I tune in to Gold, so if Rags are on Sky I turn to 0121 Sky and listen to alltime classic gems, takes me back. Sun evening is Sixties night. Bliss.

I'm glad TS are concentrating on the real story this morning - Balotelli swapping shirts at half time - rather than some waffle about how Liverpool were outclassed at home. I mean, who wants to hear about that?

I listened to it for the first time in a couple of weeks this morning while driving over the M62 and the faux outrage over that did make me laugh. Do they not realise that most players at the top clubs generally change their shirt at half time for a clean one? And that they sometimes swap those shirts with an opponent?

The mistake Mario made was doing it on the pitch. Had he waited until they were well in the tunnel then little would have been said.

Still, it gives the masters of grief & outrage something to fume about while diverting attention from the fact that they're a mediocre team with a mediocre manager and mediocre players.

.

In fairness, prior to Tunnelcam I hadn't appreciated that myself. I probably would have done if I'd ever actually thought about it, but Tunnelcam gives you little insights that fans of many clubs simply do not get to see.

except for when they play City.

Compare that with the coverage when City lost to a penalty that shouldn't have been awarded and a second goal in the last minute against Barcelona. All Brazil kept banging on about the following morning was that City had been 'destroyed'.

GET IN YOUR HEADS, TALKSHITE. NOBODY WANTS TO USE SPORTSYAPPER.

It makes me laugh every time I hear the stupid ad for Sportsyapper! No one is interested.

The sad thing is that the funniest part of Goldstein's show was arguably the bloke reading out tweets from famous people in stupid voices. Now he reads out 'yaps' from no-mark bellends on account of the station's increasingly desperate association with the deservedly underused social network. The sooner they realise that nobody wants to use Sportsyapper, the better.

What I find both hilarious and annoying in equal measure is the fact that they go on for ages AFTER a live commentary, telling their listeners that it was their commentary match.

Something like "And in the match between QPR and Liverpool, which was our live commentary game last Sunday, there were two own goals."

Why the fuck are they still promoting something that happened hours or even days ago?
