Don't mind him generally from an entertainment point of view, but tonight the hypocrisy continued to ridiculous new levels…

During discussions about who the rags need and who would sign for them, Darren Gough now claims that the Champions League is overrated in terms of it being a reason why top players join a club.

Funny how times have changed. No, nowadays, professional footballers don't care about silverware, it's all about how much money they can make - and apparently that's ok.
It's also why the rags will be able to compete for top names this summer as they can outspend anyone - ...on wages! Seriously, it gets more and more convoluted every day as the limitations of glazerism are further exposed.

Next people will be wanting to join them "because they boast the best combover combo in isstree (nobby and ticket tout) - and everyone knows that's where it's at these days. The Wags are just falling over themselves to get a bit of wispy shine, and no trophies, signing on fees or other football related matters will change that!"

Collymore yesterday.."to all fans who think city have bought success, every club who has won it has spent big including chelsea and united"
Today.."we have sold our soul"

Haha thick brummy ****

On Sunday he commentated from the back seat on the aisle of block 126.
(I sit one row away from the media 'cockroaches' (That's GDM's word for them!) in block 126.
Anyway... after the game, trophy lift & celebrations had all died down on Sunday I started to walk up the stairs to the exit...
Stan was sat there all on his own looking extremely forlorn (to say the least) as I got near him I
stared at him, gave him a big smile then stopped just in front of him. I carried on smiling then I slowly patted his
shoulder twice in a 'never mind Stan' kind of way and just carried on walking.
His face really was a picture!
Make no mistake about about it - Collymore really does not like us.

Quality pal..

Listening to the station earlier today they were discussing Joe Cole's career and stated when he was at West Ham as a 15 year old he was so good that old bacon face sent him a rag shirt with the number 10 and his name on the back of it, telling him it is waiting for him at the swamp.
Surely IF TRUE that is tapping up and once again shows what bacon face got away with.

He will look really supid if a mega rich bloke buys villa and pumps loads of money in

Ah... but there's the rub...no seriously rich bloke would want to put money into a team like Villa because FFP will limit their ability to invest and compete (which is of course the whole point of FFP).

Seem to remember Villa voted against FFP in the Prem - so maybe Randy Lerner was thinking ahead.
