Taylor for the Liverpool game

Why should Vinny of got sent off, he won the fuckin ball it’s not Vinny’s fault if the Egyptian **** throws himself all over the floor.
I don't think Vinnie should have been sent off but my point is a bent ref could have easily sent him off for that and pep too. Think the ref was fair enough yesterday and he honestly missed the sterling pen.

Wouldn't that flag waver down there have had the perfect view and would have been able to help out the Wythenshawe Weasel? Can anyone imagine that Salad or Mané would have got up from that kind of tackle in our area as empty handed as Raheem did?

Nope. That’s a definite pen for Liverpool at the other end of the pitch. The angle from behind (the ref’s angle) shows that Robertson just hugs him to the floor off the ball, nailed on foul IMO

The whole world has to agree that Vinny should have been sent off otherwise we have beat them fair and square.

I dont think he had a bad game. I feared a red for Komps and despite watching it back a few times i still dont know if it was a straight red or no foul at all.
Taylor missed little bits but on the whole i thought he was pretty balanced and ok

Just like the derby game he was excellent.

Only blip for me was the foul on Dino which they nearly scored & Pep seen his arse.

The above & not sending both Vinny & Pep off was nice too see.

The 4th official if you watch again Taylor asks him is it a red & Atkinso saves Peps bacon.

3 points, no injurys & KDB not used.

I think Atkinson is pretty calm on that type of thing. Unless Guardiola uses the word "cheat" or similar, he'd be fine.

Not just that mate, there was a blatant foul on Aguero 15 seconds before the second foul on Fernandinho that Taylor didn't give. If Salah would have scored - effectively costing us the title, I wonder how many would have come on here singing Taylor's praises.

Was that the push from the centrehalf as Aguero waited for a ball to drop? I thought that was so obvious that it was what Guardiola went off on one about, and not just for the Ferny one that followed.

Dig it out then. Be interesting as nowhere in the Laws of the Game are those things mentioned.

The criterion for a red card is “excessive force”. Was it excessive? No. Was it reckless (which is the criterion for a yellow)? Possibly but you could argue it wasn’t even that.

That's what it comes down to.
VK was off his feet which may be enough for 'reckless', and his left foot caught Salah's right foot (in the air or it could have been a bad injury). Didn't seem worse than yellow to me.
