Taylor for the Liverpool game

At end of the game VVD barges Aguero over and ball arrives with Salah who cuts in and Ederson makes a good save to put it round the post. This was a Very obvious error by linesman and ref.

If you interested watch on City extended highlights. One of first things I looked for as incensed City fans in that block

I know. Although the challenge was full tilt, the actual contact was still more of a clip than a crunch. Still a clear foul though

I thought he caught the toe, which was enough to make it difficult to set his foot down. Definitely a foul.
I think what saved it was that VK's back leg was hooked back and didn't scissor into Salah.
it may also have helped that the lunge was not at the man, but was aimed in front of him as if to block a ball played forward - less sure on that though.

That was immediately followed by Firmino getting his timing all wrong and landing on Ferny. Sky claimed it was The second one that annoyed Guardiola, but I think the first was at least as blatant. To not get either was plain wrong.

Yes that was the incident. Had Ederson not saved that it would have created a major incident

Yep two clear fouls ignored by Taylor who waved Liverpool forward as though nothing had happened. Pep was right to be incandescent.

The first was far worse, Van Dijk was caught out of position and it was a running barge in the back. Cynical/Yellow card foul all day long.

Laughably there are plenty of dippers on social media blaming their defeat on the ref being from Manchester. They fail to understand that we don't think it's fair for a rag to referee City's games either.

Non sending off, at least one penalty missed, serious tackles not called? No bias? Both sets of fans calling him out? Only one answer - incompetent.
