Obviously these wouldn't be nailed on. There are always injuries, suspensions and players out of form. So all would be fleixible.
 
I like the 4-2-3-1 formation, " German formation" in the WC. And I think we can implement it well with :

Is there really a need for two or three formations? I mean, with the talent we have in the squad and management, surely one formation ought to be enough for any game, home, away, weekend, midweek or whatever. We should always play our game no matter where or when we are, and we will always play to win.

Subs : Bellers, Krasic (after we give up on Milner bid due to price), Ade, Barry, Toure, Lescott, Given.

Silva can move across to the centre whilst Kolarov gets down the wing. Yaya covers that side defensively agaist counter attack if Kolarov is forward.

My prediction from the squad we currently have on the books. Plus whoever comes in before the start of the season, Bobby won't want to lose the first game of the season that's for sure! We may well have to get used to the Italian mindset this season especially away from home.

Missed out on 4th spot on the wire.. let's replace all but 1.5 (Johnson the .5) of our starting 11! Team looks good, but it's about progression.
