Some good news yesterday on the way to a Final today...

I've been VERY impressed with Draper since the US Open, and he's raising his game again.

Finals vs. Rune tonight (9pm GMT)

World number 7 now
Well deserved top 10. He went through Fritz, Shelton, Alcaraz and now Rune on the way to his first Masters 1000.

He's even close to #5 Djokovic too, so not out of the realm of moving up even further soon if he keeps on serving and playing like this.

He only reached the last 64 at Miami last year I think, and that's the round he enters at this year, so no points to defend, could rise up to 5th fairly quickly.

Big win for Raducanu!

Came out on top against Navarro, lots of breaks in that final set, looked to have blown it from 5-3 up, but gets a break to force a tie break and wrapped it up with some great shots.

Away from the non-event that is Raducanu, Jannik Sinner has just dismantled Casper Ruud in just over an hour, Ruud only winning 1 game!

Sinner has come back from his short ban like a man possessed, and with Zverev out of form and Alcaraz inconsistent, he has to be favourite for each of the gland slams.

Sorry, was behind on this thread, but getting back to tuning in. I actually have resumed playing too, so tennis is definitely on the mind!

Yes, with Sinner #1 seed in the French, he's the favourite, but after what Alcaraz did in the Rome finals, I have to like his chances too, especially on clay given he's the defending champion.

#1 Sinner gets #3 Zverev and #5 Draper and a Murray-less #6 Djokovic on his half of the bracket while
#2 Alcaraz gets #4 Fritz and #7 Ruud on his side.

Advantage Carlos in my book.

Either way, very much looking forward to the upcoming tournament, in both the men's and women's for the US, UK, and the other favourites.
