Went to Queens yesterday and saw 3 matches.

Navarro looked like she was heading out 4-2 down in tie break in the second set. Then a woman in the crowd required medical attention. Following the restart she turned the game around.

Anisimova and Keys were both good, with regular 100mph plus serves.

You get the feeling though that people are just complaining that water is wet, it's pretty obvious there are unbalanced people out there as well as criminals who quite frankly couldn't give a fuck.

The only obvious solution is not to do social media if it upsets you, not ideal but cunts aren't ideal and you have to be a realist.
 
11pm curfew at Wimbledon strikes again.

It will be interesting to see how the Fritz and Zverev matches go tomorrow (today?) after the halts. Kudos to Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and those 140+mph second serves - pretty impressive serves from both players.

I get the rules and all for local residents, but I don't think the NYC subways are halting operations at midnight for the US Open.

A bit of a surprise that Alcaraz needed 5 sets today. Medvedev, Tsitsipas, and Rune are first round casualties on the men's side.

Looking to be a good tourney, and a hot one at that!
 
Ha ha. I see my very outside bet on Musetti went well :(

I don't really expect anybody other than Alcaraz or Sinner to win but I thought that Musetti at 80-1 was a decent outside bet.

But today he was beaten 3-1 by some guy I've never heard of.

Musetti's loss could be Ben Shelton's gain if he's able to continue playing well in that portion of the bracket, but it's still early.

Lots of carnage on the Women's side too with both #2 Gauff and #3 Pegula gone as well. Actually 3 of the Top 5 are out there. Credit where credit is due to their opponents, who both played great matches, especially Ukrainian Dayana Yastremska, who rose to the challenge today with some impressive winners over Gauff.

#3 Zverev fell to former Texas A&M Aggie Arthur Rinderknech who played the match of his life with some well executed serve and volley play today. Having a strong serve helped there. Thankfully Taylor Fritz had enough in the 5th set to outlast dangerous serving ace Mpetshi Perricard.
 
I’ve just watched about half an hour of Katie Boulters game and I’m genuinely wondering how the hell she is a professional tennis player.
 
Thank goodness she's out. Her behaviour after winning the first set was disgusting and totally disrespectful. You would have thought she had won the Final
