That's certainly true, but the reality is that the government want to make it as difficult as possible to claim asylum because they know that most people who apply do so because they're entitled to it. This is from the government's own figures:I agree. It’s becoming very frustrating. I think large sections of society are getting pissed off with it now.
Most people want to help genuine refugees and people in need, but lots of these people clearly aren’t refugees and are abusing our broken system. Thousands of Albanian males who have no right to refugee status at all highlighting that.
And that's before you take appeals into account. Even 46% of Albanians are granted asylum, so presumably there's a case to be heard there.
